Snail is the slowest living creature beside turtle and we never even imagine why such creature being used as a name for this micro induction heating system. Electrolux Design 2010 Finalists Snail relies on a high density sugar crystal battery as energy. The cooking system uses power to heat up coils in order to conduct the food heating process in the utensil using the magnetic induction. Built in heating detector sensors are available to detect the type of food you’re cooking, time and get the temperature accordingly. The portable cooker has a touch sensitive display and it can be used with two or more Snails at once. It’s definitely great as I can even make my noodle in a glass or even turn my coffee hot at an instant. Still I can’t figure out why Peter Alwin the designer of this great prototype Snail as the capability of heating is really fast. Perhaps the shape looks like a Snail, but the speed it’s just one special extra ordinary Snail it is
